who said what?

I would have had my patent long, long ago, and it would have run out long, long ago. I would have made, maybe, $100.000, much less that the patent has brought me now.

Founders

To know values is to know the meaning of the market.

(Charles Dow)

Many American success stories start with a few brilliant men with different skills collaborating over great ideas. For example, in 1882, three reporters, Charles Dow, Edward Jones, and Charles Bergstresser decided to start a new publishing firm based on financial information. Dow Jones & Company was formed. Prior to that time, Standard Oil's stock price was largely determined by John D. Rockefeller who influenced the financial forecasting of men like John P. Morgan. Such lack of transparency created inefficient markets. Dow Jones & Company revolutionized the financial sector and as a result, created more efficient markets.

Finding meaning in patent documents

With a bold claim of "driving the innovation economy," the founders of IP Street have a vision of doing the same thing in innovation and IP research that Dow Jones & Company did for the financial markets. With a complementary skill set in IP law, business acumen, and public policy, our founders had a vision to take complex data from the largest growing asset class, apply cutting-edge technologies, and create actionable business intelligence.
